Already housed securely in British Hairdressing Awards ‘Hall Of Fame’ in recognition of his award winning hair artistry, 2009 found Desmond accepting an additional award from the British Hairdressing Awards citing him Mens Hairdresser of the Year. This was followed by an international award from the A.I.P.P. which named Desmond Murrays Avant Garde Collection of the Year’. This being an accolade not only for his hairdressing skills but his dexterity as an award winning photographer.

I’m Luke Dolan, an award-winning barber with over 25 years of experience, including British Barber of the Year for Wahl. I’ve built my career on a no-frills approach: classic cuts, good conversations, and staying true to my craft. Millions of people tune in each month to watch what I do, which still surprises me. For the past decade, I’ve been proud to represent Uppercut Deluxe and mentor young barbers to help them grow. I’m a dad of four, a history nerd, and a guitarist who’s still learning. Barbering is my passion, and I’m always working to be better at it.
ANTHONY HUTTON

began his journey in the hair industry over 20 years ago, discovering a deep love for barbering and the connections it creates. After stepping away from the industry when he won Big Brother, Anthony eventually returned to his true passion—the craft of barbering and that connection you build up with a client, being a very unique friendship .
Fascinated by the one-to-one conversations that happen in the barber’s chair, Anthony realized it’s one of the best spaces for men to talk and open up. This insight inspired him to launch the Never Throw in the Towel Project, a mission to tackle male suicide and break the stigma around men’s mental health.
The initiative sees Anthony combining his skill set of barbering and public speaking, delivering keynote talks and running a pop-up barbershop. Using the barber’s chair as a subtle but powerful tool, he creates a safe space for honest conversations.
The mission is to : build a brotherhood, break the stigma, and spread the message that talking is a strength, not a weakness. Strapline – Keep on living.
