At the Mens Hairdressing Federation we offer all kinds of courses. For all levels. At the academy you can attend an academy day and learn from our educators in a classroom of fellow barbering students.

CLIPPER FADING – 1 DAY

This 1 day fade course is designed for hairdressers and barbers who want to understand a generic structure when fading hair, something that can be replicated again and again.

This 1 day course is designed for beginners who have no experience in shaving. You will learn the health and safety precautions necessary prior and during the shave service. The correct product and equipment knowledge and how to shave in a barbershop to a professional standard.

PRIVATE BARBERING COURSE – 52 WEEKS

This private course is designed for a career in barbering. Our educators are all City & Guild qualified assessors and have a wealth of barbering skills to pass on to you for the start of your career journey.

This apprenticeship course is designed for a career in barbering. Earn a level 2 barbering diploma in hair professionals. Our educators are all City & Guild qualified assessors and have a wealth of barbering skills to pass on to you for the start of your career journey.

How it works

Once you have paid for your course, we schedule a telephone consultation to understand your specific requirements and goals. Based on this information, we create a custom curriculum tailored to your learning needs. Following the initial consultation, we will present you with a proposed schedule for the day. Once both parties have agreed and confirmed, you can then arrange the class time that suits you best.
